In 2024, with 42 major political elections happening around the globe, geopolitical conflict, enterprises battling recessionary economies and AI topping the business agenda, the role of the cyber leader continued to evolve. Hence, the theme for the 2024 summit was “Resilience in an Age of Distrust.

In 2023, "Collective Cyber Resilience" was the core theme and principle. Resilience is the ability to anticipate, withstand, respond, and adapt. It requires organisations to plan, share experiences, define standards, identify key priorities, and learn from their failures.
