Deb is an Advisory Principal at ISTARI. He has over 23 years of global experience in consulting, financial services, technology, and manufacturing, based out of Singapore, Tokyo and Kolkata. He helps C-suite and senior leaders navigate complex and emerging challenges in cybersecurity, technology risk, third-party risk, cloud, digital transformation, and AI security.
Deb joined ISTARI from PwC, where he served marque clients across various industries, such as banking and financial services, government, technology, retail and logistics. He also founded and led the Cloud Security practice and regional Cloud Security Centre of Excellence and established key cyber alliance partnerships with technology and cyber companies such as AWS, Hashicorp, and SIs. Prior to that, he held senior roles at major global banks such as Barclays, Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, Nomura, and Citigroup.
Deb holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from IIEST. He also has a number of certifications, including the Fintech Certificate in Future Commerce from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, AWS Certified Solutions Architect and CATO SASE Expert Level-2.
