Wolfgang generates revenue for ISTARI and its portfolio companies through trusted relationships with clients and portfolio company executives in EMEA.

Wolfgang joined ISTARI from Cohesity, a fast-growing leading company in the data management and data security space. He brings a wealth of experience, having very successfully served in several sales management, partner and alliance development roles at multiple fast-paced global companies, including Cloudera, SimpliVity, VMware, Infoblox, Q1 Labs, F5 Networks and 3Com over the last 25 years.

He holds an M.S. degree in Physics from the Technical University in Munich, a degree (D.E.A.) in Instrumentation and Measurements from the University of Bordeaux (France) and completed a master's thesis at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (USA). He has published articles with the Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory and the European Commission.
